CIGCI hosts High-level Meeting with Representatives of the Cocoa Value Chain in Accra
The Côte d’Ivoire-Ghana Cocoa Initiative (CIGCI) held a High-level meeting in Accra on 8 July 2022 between representatives of the cocoa value chain and the governments of Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana.
Participants agreed to work together to improve the incomes of cocoa farmers and to produce cocoa that is sustainable in its economic, environmental and social dimensions.
The meeting was jointly hosted by the Executive Secretary of CIGCI, H.E. Alex ASSANVO, the Chief Executive of the Ghana Cocoa Board, Honorable Joseph Boahen AIDOO and the Managing Director of Le Conseil du Café-Cacao, M. Yves Brahima KONÉ
